TBC Leasing will be financed with $4 million. The loan for TBC Leasing was allocated by the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB). With this money TBC Leasing will finance small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
The document was signed on November 6 by General Director of TBC Bank Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, Director of TBC Leasing Nana Mikashavidze and President of BSTDB Ihsan Ugur Delikanli.
According to TBC bank, this is the third credit recourse obtained from BSTDB. The money should serve the development of the non-bank financial sector and growth in access to financing for SME.
“This is one more step forward for SME in Georgia. I hope we will help them to develop and create new projects,” stated Butskhirkidze.
“We want to help SMEs to obtain equipment for their businesses. Our bank’s strategic goal is to support SME. We have collaborated with the Georgian side as well,” stated Delikanli.
Mikashavidze said that they will not have limits.
“We will cover every field. The only demand is that the recipient is an SME, which is denoted as a business which has a maximum of $10 million in annual turnover and 200 employees,” stated Mikashavidze.
