Georgia to open European Investment Bank office

Georgian Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Davit Shavliashvili met with the representatives of the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The sides discussed the projects being implemented in Georgia with the EIB financial support, the ministry said.
“An EIB office is planned to open in Georgia in spring 2015,” EIB representatives said. “This will make the cooperation between the sides more effective.”
Special attention was paid to the rehabilitation of water supply system in Kutaisi, road infrastructure and waste management.
The sides outlined the plan and priorities for future cooperation.
