Highway between Georgia, Russia closed due to avalanche danger

Traffic on the highway between Georgia and Russia was closed again due to bad weather, Georgia’s Department of Roads told Trend Jan.5.

It is reported that traffic routes for all kinds of transportation on the Gudauri-Kobi-Stepantsminda-Lars section of the Georgian Military Road have been closed because of avalanche danger.

The movement of vehicles on other roads is open.
