Borjomi featured in Lithuanian anti-Russian campaign

Wednesday, January 7
Lithuanian social media group, “We don’t buy Kremlin’s propaganda’’ calls on entrepreneurs to stop advertising their product on Russian TV channels, Russian media reports.

The group members placed stickers on products being advertised on Russian TV channels depicting a Colorado potato beetle. Georgian mineral water “Borjomi’’ ended up on that list as well.

“We would like to tell people that such products support the Kremlin’s aggressive propaganda. We hope entrepreneurs will realize that it is not profitable for honest Lithuanian citizens,’’- says the statement released by the group. (IPN)
