German “Green Week” apologies to Georgia

Tuesday, January 20
The exhibition organizer Lars Jaeger has apologized to the Georgian people for the inconvenience.

The organizers of the Berlin international trade fair "Green Week" visited the Georgian stand and met with Georgia’s Minister of Agriculture Otar Danelia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Germany, Lado Tchanturia and the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Nodar Kereselildze. "I want you to be sure that it is not our political message – we exactly know that Abkhazia is the region of Georgia and nothing else. That is why I would like to apologize to you for this unwitting misunderstanding. This is a common situation for us – we often represent regions beyond the major stand of a country, too. The resentment that broke out because of us will be improved just due to our efforts. So, "Green Week’s" attitude is still peaceful, and we see a great future in the participation of Georgia in this trade fair", - said Lars Jaeger. According to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Germany, Lado Tchanturia, the private company has violated the terms of exhibition stand hire and misunderstandings have already been eliminated.
