Official: Armenian custom brokers can work at EEU custom checkpoints

Thursday, January 22
Armenian custom brokers will get an opportunity to work at all custom checkpoints of the Eurasian Economic Union, Deputy Finance Minister Suren Karayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He noted that the treaty on Armenia's joining Eurasian Economic Union envisages a transitional period of 18 months during which custom brokers and representatives working in Armenia must prepare for licensing under the rules of Eurasian Economic Union.

“They can serve the cargo at customs points located not in Armenia only, but in all other countries of the Eurasian Union,” Karayan emphasized. (News.am)
