Students Write Letters to Georgian Soldiers in Afghanistan

The school pupils sent letters to the military servicemen of the 4th Mechanized Brigade Reinforced Company involved in the Resolute Support mission in Afghanistan. The soldiers received up to 200 letters from the pupils of Tkibuli Municipality # 15 public schools. They thanked their little friends for such warm letters and promised to answer to them.

In the frame of the joint project of the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Education and Science, Tbilisi and regional public school pupils throughout Georgia write letters to the military deployed in international missions periodically. The goal of the project is to express support to the Georgian warriors fulfilling the mission far from the motherland.

The Georgian soldiers are performing the peacekeeping mission in Mazar-i-Sharif under the command of the German forces.
