TBC Bank promotes micro and small businesses

TBC Bank signed a memorandum with the Enterprise Development Agency and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to promote micro and small businesses in Georgian on March 5.

The memorandum was signed by the General Director of TBC Bank Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, the Director of Enterprise Development Agency Giorgi Tsikolia and the IFC’s Representative in Georgia, Tea Gogiberidze.

This memorandum will promote the Produced in Georgia program and will offer financial support and consultations to interested individuals who live in the regions and want to start a small or micro business.

The IFC is a member of the World Bank group, which ensures access to TBC Bank’s Business Supporting Program’s education webpage tbcbusiness.ge.

Tbcbusiness.ge created the TBC Business Academyapplication especially for micro and small businesses. Businessmen from the regions are given the possibility to improve their knowledge in a virtual regime. Users can listen to lectures and afterwards they can take a test and receive special certificates.

Butskhrikidze stated that tbcbusiness.ge is innovative.

“This web page is part of small and micro-business development plan. Many different courses are offered to help businessmen develop their skills. ” he stressed.
