Georgia's economic growth hits 2.3% in August

Georgia’s economic growth was 2.3 percent in August 2015 compared to the same period of 2014, Sputnik reported with reference to the preliminary data of the Georgian National Statistics Service.
The country’s economic growth was 2.8 percent in January-August 2015 compared to the same period of 2014.
According to the preliminary data, the country's economic growth was 4.7 percent in 2014 compared to 2013. According to the specified data of the Georgian National Statistics Service, the country’s economic growth was 3.3 percent in 2013 compared to 2012.
The revenues to the country’s state budget amounted to 591.4 million lari ($246.4 million) in August 2015 or by 194.5 million lari ($81 million) less than in July 2015. The expenses to the country’s state budget amounted to 623 million lari ($ 260 million) in August 2015, while the expenses to the country’s state budget amounted to 776.4 million lari ($323.5 million) in July 2015.
