ESU Public Speaking Competition

The competition final took place on April 6 in the British Corner, Vake Park, Tbilisi and it went really well. Everybody was impressed by the level of English of our speakers. We've listened to 100 speakers at the first round. The jury selected 8 speakers for the finals. The theme was: The most common way people give up their power is by thinking that they don't have any"
The winner was Guga Sukhiashvili from the State University. The title of his speech was: "True Idols". The runner up was Irakli Korkia with the title: "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall" and the third prize got Eter Chumburidze with the title: The Seed of Power".
The winner Guga Sukhiashvili will go to London to take part at the ESU International Public Speaking Competition on the13th of May. There best speakers from 64 countries will get together to take part in the finals. The theme at the Finals will be: "Integrity has no need of rules".
