Geostat: GDP Growth 2.1% in July

Georgia’s annual GDP grew 2.1% in July, after 2.9% growth in June, according to preliminary data released by the state statistics office, Geostat, on Tuesday.
Economy grew 2.7% y/y in the first seven months of this year, according to Geostat. Annual GDP growth in the same period of last year stood at 2.6%.
The Government’s forecast for 2016 economic growth stands at 3%.
Georgia’s economy expanded by 2.8% in 2015, the weakest growth since 2009. (Civil.ge)
