BP regional manager, Georgian PM mull Shah Deniz-2 project

Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met with BP Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Gordon Birrell Oct. 24, Georgia Online reported citing the prime minister’s office.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on ongoing BP projects, which are being implemented in the region and Georgia, Trend reports.
The sides discussed work being carried out in Georgia to expand the Shah Deniz-2 gas corridor project, which is considered as one of the main components of the Southern Gas Corridor.
The special role of the project, the commissioning of which is scheduled for 2019, for the South Caucasus countries was also noted during the meeting. (News.Az)
