Georgia’s 2016 state budget over-fulfilled

Georgia has ended the year 2016 on a financial high - the state budget fulfilled its revenue plan and is experiencing a significant surplus.
“As of December 30, 2016 Georgia’s state budget incomes have been fulfilled by 100 percent,” announced Georgia’s Ministry of Finance today.
Meanwhile, the tax revenues of the consolidated budget was also fulfilled in surplus.
“It was exceeded by 46 million GEL compared to the increased plan of December and 101 million GEL – compared to the initial plan of 2016,” said the Ministry.
As for this year, Georgia will have about 10 billion GEL in the state budget 2017. (Agenda.ge)
