Social Service Agency and Liberty Bank Sign Cooperation Memorandum

On March 22 Zaza Sopromadze, director of Social Service Agency, and Liberty Bank director general Aleksi Khuroshvili signed a memorandum on cooperation at Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Protection.
Under the memorandum, for a period of one year, Liberty Bank will cover electricity and natural gas consumption costs for more than 50 family-type houses and orphanages. It should be noted that in 2016 the bank spent considerable funds on these directions.
A total of 322 children live at state-owned family-type houses, including 25 children with disabilities. Moreover, about 157 children receive everyday assistance at orphanages and daytime centers. Besides base assistance, they also receive psychological assistance, support in education, they are involved in culture and sport activities, receive vocational knowledge and skills.
“I would like to express my gratitudes to Liberty Bank for support! Thanks to cooperation with Liberty Bank, we have managed to pay for public utilities of family-type houses and orphanages. Free money resources will enable us to care for resolving other problems and needs of beneficiaries of these centers”, Zaza Sopromadze noted.
