Fruitful cooperation

The Ambassador of Italy to Georgia HE Enrico Bartoli together with the Ferrero Group held the presentation of The 7th Ferrero’s Corporate Social Responsibility Report with a Special Focus on projects in Georgia on June 19.
Ferrero is operating in Georgia already more than 10 years and for the benefit of Georgia and Ferrero Group it achieved significant results. In particular Georgia appeared on the map of countries producing hazelnuts.
Currently Georgia occupies 3rd place on the hazelnut exporting countries.
The event was attended by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, who delivered a speech highlighting that this experience should be implemented into all sectors of Georgian agriculture and Ferrero representatives: Francesco Paolo Fulci – Ambassador/President of Ferrero Italy and Vice President of Ferrero International; Aldo Uva – Chief Operating Officer Strategic Business Units Ferrero International and Alessandro Boccardo – Ferrero Hazelnut Company Manager.
In the presentation participated Georgian experts and officials: Nodar Kereselidze – First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Georgia, Teo Urushadze – Dean of Agricultural University of Georgia and Louisa Namicheishvili – Director of CNFA Georgia.
The moderator of the session was Director of Forbes (Georgia) Giorgi Isakadze.
The questions by the journalists were answered. It was advised to share this experience to all the farmers throughout the country, other segments of Georgian agriculture.
