Turkmenistan, Georgia mull trade, economic projects

The Turkmen Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting with a Georgian delegation headed by country’s Deputy Finance Minister Nikoloz Gagua in Ashgabat on August 8.
They discussed issues of trade and economic relations, as well as possibilities of major strategic projects in this area.
“The Turkmenistan representatives expressed their commitment to the development of cooperation with the countries of the Caucasus region,” the message said. “In this context, the role of high-level visits and the commitment of the sides to further implementation of the agreements reached on a systematic basis were noted.”
Talking about bilateral cooperation in cultural and humanitarian sphere, the sides discussed the opportunities for boosting bilateral contacts for the purpose of achievement of a qualitatively new level in this sphere. (Trend.az)
