Well-known Georgian actress Lika Kavzharadze found dead in her flat

Famous Georgian actress and beauty Lika Kavzharadze was found dead in her apartment on October 11.
The actress was 57 and would have turned 58 on October 26.
The exact reason of her death has not yet been established, however, the police have launched an investigation 115 of Criminal Code of Georgia, which means driving a person to suicide.
Guram Palavandishvili, cousin of the actress, says that the reason of Kavzharadze’s death might be heart problems.
He rejected the rumors that the actress was stressed lately or had some psychological problems.
“She did not have depression and had many plans. Lately she used to have breathing problems and was getting tired easily,” Palavandishvili told media.
Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili offered his condolences to the family of Kavzharadze.
“I believe that in the heart of the people she will always remain as a symbol of the beautiful Georgian woman,” the PM’s statement reads.
President Giorgi Margvelashvili also issued a statement, saying Kavzharadze was a legendary actress.
“I offer my sympathy and support to the family members and relatives,” he added.
Kavzharadze became famous after playing the role of Marita in the film Wishing Tree (Natvris Khe). She was divorced from her first husband and has one son, who lives in the United States.
Georgia’s Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection reports that civil funeral of the actress will take place on October 12-13.
On October 14 morning the body will be taken in Holy Trinity Cathedral of Vake District, Tbilisi and at 15:00 the actress will be buried.
