Georgian wine promoted in Japanese cities of Tokyo and Osaka

Georgian wine presentation-tasting events have been held in Tokyo and Osaka cities of Japan this week.

Seven Georgian wine companies participated in large-scale events in Japan, announced the Georgian National Wine Agency.

Japan in particular is a growing export market for Georgian wine.

In the first 11 months of 2017 alone, 155,000 bottles of Georgian wine were exported to Japan, which made for a eight percent year-over-year increase. (agenda.ge)
