Ramada Encore Tbilisi opens in Georgia

Ramada Encore brand hotel has opened in Tbilisi on February 27. Ramada Encore Tbilisi is the project of “m2 Real Estate” company.
Open auction was announced at the end of 2014. The winner company had to build a hotel with at least 150 rooms and invest of at least 25 million GEL.
“Investment in Ramada Encore Tbilisi hotel is a good example of cooperation between the state and private sector, when the process is planned valuably from the very beginning and we receive a successful result,” first vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Dimitry Kumsishvili noted at the hotel inauguration ceremony.
Ramada Encore is a licensed brand of the world’s largest and most diverse hotel company, Wyndham Hotel Group. The stylish 152-rooms property has become part of Tbilisi hotels. Ramada Encore Tbilisi is a perfect choice for both - business and leisure travelers.

“Today we have the hotel with 152 rooms and the investment of $14 million is made in it. As of today, there are 100 people employed in the hotel, but in the future the company “m2 Real Estate” plans to add more jobs and build hotels,” Kumsishvili said.
$14 million was invested in the hotel. Construction works were financed by International Finance Corporation (IFC).
IFC—a sister organization of the World Bank and member of the World Bank Group—is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector in developing countries.
More than 200 hotels and guesthouses opened in Georgia in 2015-2017.
