Reconciliation Minister’s Car Hits Kid

The car of the Georgian Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili hit a 11-year-old kid on the Tskneti road on Monday, in the outskirts of Tbilisi. As reported a driver and the minister were in the car that time.
The kid with minor injuries has been immediately transported to the Ingorokva hospital in Tbilisi.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched investigation for violating the safety rules.
The minister neither confirmed nor denied her presence in the car, but excluded speed exceed.
Tsikhelashvili visited the kid at the hospital yesterday.
She told the media that doctors describe the patient’s state of health as satisfactory.
“The most important is the kid’s heath. As I was told by doctors he does not suffer from heavy injuries,” Tsikhelashvili said.
“There was no exceeded speed, or any type of road violation. The investigation is ongoing over the incident,” she stated.
According to preliminary report, Tsikhelashvili was in the car during the accident, but she was not driving the vehicle.
