Tbilisi Street Market

Tbilisi Street Market took place on September 22-23 in Tbilisi – Shota Rustaveli Avenue Sidewalk.

Different types of Georgian products, including food, drinks, clothes, accessories, decorations and toys were presented at the market.

Tbilisi Street Market, which will take place on every sunny weekend until December, enables guests to purchase products directly from entrepreneurs.

The event is organized with the support of Tbilisi City Hall Economic Development Department and 50 entrepreneurs are involved in it.

The initiative aims to create new places for socializing, tourism, trade development.

According to Georgian entrepreneurs, the existence of permanent trading space is essential for beginners and small businesses. Entrepreneurs have a chance to communicate with customers face to face and make new connections.

Giga Tavdgiridze – GT Handmade – presented his products within the frames of Tbilisi Street Market. His handmade leather bags were on sale and he had a chance to communicate with the customers, tell his own stories and promote his productions.

Exclusive handmade leather handbags and accessories by Tatiana Lebanidze were also presented at the market.

Tbilisi Street Market took place in June-July 2018 on Sundays as well at Rike Park, which was also supported by Tbilisi City Hall Economic Development Department.
