Vice-Speaker of Parliament Tamar Chugoshvili said that the representatives, deputies and ministers will have very active meetings and contacts with the electors, population, not only in the pre-election period.

She noted that the first round of presidential elections showed that the contact and communication between the government and the population were lost, or weakened.

"If the government is not in a very active communication with its population, it loses the adequacy, it loses the pulse, the feel of the society’s concerns and this is followed by heavy consequences. In coming days our representatives, our lawmakers will have very active meetings with voters, population, but it should not take place just in the pre-election period, it should be continued permanently,” Chugoshvili said.
