Creative spaces incubator

The Creative Spaces - incubation program of Batumi will take place on 15-16 December at Contemporary Art Space in Batumi.

The event is organized and implemented by Creative Georgia, Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of A/R Adjara, in cooperation with the Goethe Institute.

Creative spaces incubator will support the spreading of information about the potential benefits of creative spaces, creative space models and mechanisms of creating them, about involving governmental, non-governmental and business sectors in creative entrepreneurship.

The partners of the event - representations of municipalities, A/R’s and central government as well as creative industries sector, former cultural houses and other cultural spaces - have full information about potential benefits of creative spaces, because these representatives often have the power to support the development of creative entrepreneurship.

The registration deadline is December 9 and it is worth mentioning that attendance is free of charge.

Creative Georgia is a LEPL (Legal Entity of Public Law) created under the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, the fields of work of which are the commercialization of creative industries sector and supporting its sustainable development.

Their main goal is to create a favorable environment for developing Creative Industries.

The organization has been operating since January 2017.

Various projects have been implemented, including Urban Lab – REconception, regional tours in 3 regions (Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kakheti, and Adjara) and 16 municipalities of Georgia and several organizational and personal meetings, training and presentations.
