New Year handmade items were also sold.

The Solidarity Fund was created by the initiative of Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili in 2014.

The Solidarity Fund of Georgia was intended to contribute to the formation of a consolidated and transparent management mechanism of the Civil Society Solidarity, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the Public and Private Partnerships (PPPs).

The Solidarity Fund of Georgia was launched as a common platform for philanthropy, innovative financing and corporate social responsibility initiatives to support individual patients and the most vulnerable families in need of high-cost life-saving treatment or social assistance.

During its first year of operations, the Solidarity Fund has already closed financial gaps in diagnostic and treatment services for all children and young people affected by cancer under the age of 22.

More than 15 000 000 GEL has been mobilized since the creation of the foundation.
