Online Drug Traffickers Detained in Tbilisi

The Georgian Interior Ministry has stated that they have revealed a scheme for online drug trafficking and detained five drug dealers subsequently.
The detainees created groups, so-called drug-shops, in the messenger of the online application Telegram, and a drug shop on the chat platform Matanga, the ministry says.
Police have seized Hashish, Bio and Alpha PVP from the properties of the detainees.
The detainees have not been identified, but the ministry said that the crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
Over the past few days, police have detained three other individuals in the Ponichala district of Tbilisi for dealing Heroin in large quantities.
They face 8 to 20 years in prison or the life imprisonment.
One more individual was detained in Tbilisi with 500 pills of ecstasy and four packages of MDMA.
Up to 200 drug dealers were detained by police last year.
