Global Finance Magazine says Georgia is the safest country in the region

The US Global Finance Magazine, with readers in 163 countries, cites Georgia as the safest country in the region in its latest survey-World’s Safest Countries 2019.
On the list of 128 countries, Georgia takes the 49th position.
The safety score for countries equally weighs each of the three factors: war and peace, personal security, and natural disaster risk, the Global Finance Magazine reads.
The positions of Georgia’s neighboring countries on the list are as follows:
Armenia -62nd.
Azerbaijan – 71st.
Turkey – 107th.
Russia – 108th.
Iceland, Switzerland, Finland Portugal and Austria subsequently are at the top of the list.
Global Finance is a monthly magazine founded in 1987. Its mission is to help corporate leaders, bankers and investors chart the course of global business and finance.
The magazine has a circulation of 50,050, audited by BPA, and readers in 163 countries. Its headquarters are in New York, with offices in London and Milan.
