Creative Georgia launches new projects

On 21 February, ‘Up-start’ project presentation will be held at Tbilisi History Museum.

On the platform of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, the project aims to create media incubator and to facilitate student’s business projects. Additionally, to develop a student’s business and English language skills. In the course of the project, cultural management curricula will be developed and will be integrated into the bachelor’s and master’s study programs at the Academy.

‘The constituent components of the UP-start aim is to understand and evaluate existing knowledge and methods,’ said Ana Riaboshenko Director of Creative Georgia.

According to him, the platform of the project is taken by the Academy of Art.

In addition, the curriculum will be developed in the direction of media, fashion and design faculties, which implies the development of the entrepreneurship course for these faculties.

The project is the winner of the grant program ‘Creative Spark: Entrepreneurial Education for Higher Education’ announced by the British Council.

The curriculum will be developed for undergraduate and graduate levels.

The aim of the new training courses is to facilitate the students of the Academy of Sciences to easily facilitate the new world in the form of modified and qualitatively different principles in the conditions of economic globalization.

Project “UP-start” is funded by the British Council grant program “Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise”.

Another project - “Re-conception” also funded by the British Council grant program “Creative Spark: Higher Education Enterprise”. The project aims to develop a student’s business and English language skills. With Students participation, creative-recreational development plan will be elaborated for Georgia’s national museums.

Presentation of the Creative Georgia and University of East Anglia collaborative project, called “Re-conception” will take place on February 27 at Tbilisi State University’s 1st block.
