Life imprisonment demand for 9-year old girl murderer
The family of a 9-year-old girl killed in Gori requires life imprisonment for the murderer, Iago Nebieridze.
“We do not need his confession. Everything has already been established. We demand what he deserves, not only me but entire Georgia. We unquestionably require life imprisonment,” stated the grandfather of Naniko Berishvili, a nine-year-old victim.
Family members of the victim arrived at Tbilisi City Court, where the trial of Iago Nebieridze, accused of Beriashvili’s murder was planned to be held.

Naniko Beriashvili, 9, disappeared in Gori on October 25. She was found dead in several hours by the law enforcers. Witnesses told the media that the girl’s body was found on the Galustashvili Street in Gori with her hands and legs tied and a plastic bag on her head. Iago Nebieridze, 33, who had already been convicted in the past, was detained for the premeditated murder of a minor in aggravated circumstances.
Grand exhibition of the finest Belarus brands to be held in Tbilisi
On March 20-23 the exhibition of Belarusian producers “Made in Belarus” will take place, where Georgian customers will have an opportunity to get acquainted with already familiar as well as many new brands. Several hundred brand products will be presented at the exhibition.
Belarus exhibitions are held annually in the capital of Georgia. In 2016 the Belarus National Exhibition was held in Tbilisi, In 2017 and 2018 Belarus exhibits were most widely presented at the Agro-Food exhibition and in March 2019, Belarus continues to represent a large exhibition "Made in Belarus" in which up to 150 companies from various fields of economy will participate and a variety of business and cultural events will be held.
Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Russ will take part in the official opening ceremony of the exhibition on March 20 and the Georgian-Belarusian Business Council will be held to discuss the ways of expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.
"Maglow Factory" Strommashin, "Maglower Metallurgical Plant" and other Belarusian Machine Giants will be taking part in the production exposition.
The exhibition will represent Belarus scientific and technical inventions, organized by the State Committee of Science and Technology with the participation of the Ministry of Education and Belarus National Science Academy.
Republican Scientific and Practical Center Cardiology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus will demonstrate the unique operation - an innovative method of heart transplantation carried out by the Belarusian Surgeons since 2009
Belarusian food products, which are famous for its quality and natural ingredients, will be widely presented at the exhibition.
Events planned within the exhibition will be organized with the support of the Embassy of Belarus, Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, State Agencies and business associations, etc.
