ZEG - Tbilisi Storytelling Festival

ZEG is a festival dedicated to the power of storytelling and designed for those who want to drive change. The festival brings together master storytellers from all over the world, to share their thoughts about shaping narratives for the future, discuss their experiences, and share practical tips on how to become more impactful storytellers.
The press conference of ZEG - Tbilisi Storytelling Festival took place on May 3 at Fabrika.
The conference was led by Elene Zhvania and Keti Ebanoidze, co-founders of Impact Hub Tbilisi, founder of Coda Story Natalia Antelava, Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi Sophio Khuntsaria, TBC Bank head brand manager Beki Pantskhava, Executive Creative Director of Windfor’s, Bibi Asatiani.
ZEG is the first International Festival of "Storytelling" in the region, which has laid the basis for Impact Hub Tbilisi and Coda Story.
A storytelling festival exploring topics ranging from the nature of biography to the personality of perfume to how to think about the future of education to how to challenge the forces of confusion in a post-truth world will take place in June.
A number of speakers will take place in the festival including Lindsey Hilsum, Joe Sabia, Shaun Walker, etc.
Lindsey Hilsum is Channel 4’s international editor, who has covered many wars from Syria to Libya and Ukraine.
Lindsey is coming to Zeg to talk about the power of a personal story and lessons she learned from writing the best-selling biography of Marie Colvin, the iconic war reporter who was killed in Syria in 2012.
The festival will be held on June 20-22, 2019.
Festival organizers are Impact Hub Tbilisi, Coda Story.
