Actor Merab Ninidze to act in the final season of Homeland

Georgian actor Merab Ninidze will play in the final 8th season of the famous American TV series Homeland.
Ninidze will be playing the role of Sergey Mirov, a senior Russian intelligence official, who first appeared in is the eleventh episode of the seventh season.
Homeland is an American spy thriller television series developed by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa based on the Israeli series Prisoners of War, which was created by Gideon Raff.
The series is broadcast in the U.S. on the cable channel Showtime and is produced by Fox 21 Television Studios (formerly Fox 21). It premiered on October 2, 2011.
The eighth and final season of the American television drama series Homeland is scheduled to premiere in late-2019 on Showtime and consist of 12 episodes.
The Georgian actor has appeared in a set of Georgian films, from acclaimed late Soviet-era works Repentance (1984) and Roots (1987) to contemporary productions including My Happy Family and Hostages.
'Nowhere in Africa', where Ninidze played the role of Walter Redlich, won an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2002. He is also known for McMafia (2018), Jupiter holdja (2017).
In winter 2019, Merab Ninidze joined Academy Award-nominated Benedict Cumberbatch.
