The prestigious European Street Food Awards – now in its third year - is one of the biggest and best street food competition in the world.

The event takes place in different locations, including Germany, Poland, Denmark, etc.

Georgian event will be hosted by Mtatsminda Park on September 15 for the first time in Tbilisi on Sunday.

Mtatsminda Park, European Street Food Awards and popular British Street Food – Georgian Feast are inviting the public to the Georgian Street Food Festival.

Even though the 2018 European Street Food Awards were legendary, but 2019 Awards will be even better: “After two years in Berlin we are flying off to bring our vibes to Malmo”.

“It's made up of national heats across the continent and this year culminates in a live cook-off, judged by you, the general public, and industry experts, in Sweden. So come and choose your champion in the Georgian Street Food Awards,” reads the description of the event.

The winner will be awarded Euro 1,000 to travel to Malmo (Sweden) to compete for the European Street-Food Champion title with up to 20 other finalists in the European Street-Food Championship.

The Georgian Feast is UK's 1st #Georgian Street-Food trader & British Street-Food 2018 Awards.

“We first started planning our Georgian street food venture in 2014. Our friends and neighbours tried Georgian food, usually for the first time, and told us it deserved to be eaten by more people. And when we started investigating, we realized that the spices and pickles traditionally used in Georgian cuisine just weren’t available – not only in the UK but generally outside Georgia,” reads the story by the Georgian Feast.
