First direct flight Tallinn-Kutaisi by WizzAir
To celebrate the launch of direct flights between Georgia and Estonia and to mark the inaugural flight, the festive welcoming ceremony was organized at Tallinn Airport with the participation of the Georgian Embassy in Tallinn.
Mr. Einari Bambus, Member of the Management Board of the Tallinn Airport and Ms. Tamara Mikaberidze, Charge d'Affaires a.i. of Georgia addressed the first passengers of the flight and congratulated them, highlighting the close cooperation between Georgia and Estonia in every field, including the tourism sector. She expressed hope that the new direct flights will further contribute to enhancing the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The inaugural flight was welcomed by the traditional water-salute at the Tallinn Airport.
Lawyer says woman accused of stabbing 3-year-old child on Pekini Avenue has paranoid schizophrenia
On the 28th of August police detained a woman for stabbing a 3 years old child in the street.
Aleksi Gabunia, a lawyer of Tamar Sadzaglishvili, commented on the state of health of the client and said that she has paranoid schizophrenia. The lawyer considers that this circumstance will exclude criminal liability. Tamar Sadzaglishvili has not undergone any psychiatric-psychological examination yet.
Common symptoms for paranoid schizophrenia include auditory hallucinations (hearing voices or sound effects) and paranoid delusions (believing everyone is out to cause the sufferer harm).
The video, which shows the 3 years old child, who was stabbed by a passer-by, was spread on social media as well, shocked the public.
The Folk festival "Chakvistavoba" to take place in Georgia
The Folk festival "Chakvistavoba" will take place in the village of Chakvistavi on 12th September 2019. The main location of the event is near the Visitor Center of Mtirala National Park.
The Festival area will be arranged with resting spaces and decorations, exhibition corners of Kobuleti museum, community college "New Wave" and local communities of that amazing gorge, also local entrepreneurs and catering companies will have the opportunity to demonstrate and sell their products, the Food and Beverages such as wine, “chacha” (Georgian Vodka), beer, coffee, also honey will be on sale.
Guests will have the opportunity to participate in sports activities such as chess, backgammon, arm wrestling. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a variety of master classes in culinary and dance. In parallel to the sporting events, local folk ensembles will hold a concert, a special invitation band "Orion" and "Good luck" festival.
Along with the sports competitions, invited and local folk bands will hold a concert. Performance by the special guest band "Orion" will complete the festival.
The festival is organized by Kobuleti Municipality Non-profit (non-commercial) Legal Entity “Center of Culture.”
