Putin promises Bibilov to strengthen bilateral relations next year

Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev wrote a letter to Occupied Tskhinvali region de-facto President Anatoli Bibilov and wished him a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and promised to strengthen bilateral relations in 2020, Ossetian news agency ‘Resi’ writes.

Vladimir Putin wrote in the letter that he is hoping to continue working together with de-facto President Bibilov to enhance bilateral relations between Russia and So-called South Ossetia in different directions:

"We have been able to implement many projects in recent times that promote socio-economic development and strengthening of statehood in South Ossetia. I hope that in the coming year, we will continue to work together to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields," Putin wrote.

In his letter, Dmitry Medvedev says that large-scale assistance to the republic and strengthening of its state institutions will continue in the interest of both countries.



Bidzina Ivanishvili gives a speech at the Georgian National Youth Palace

The presentation of a scholarly work on the national culture at the Georgian National Youth Palace was held, attended by the Georgian Dream founder Bidzina Ivanishvili who gave a speech about the importance of Georgia’s national culture.

Ivanishvili thanked everyone involved in the process of publishing such a unique culture and a history textbook: MIPASUXE

He later praised the author of the book Anzor Erkomaishvili for being 'an icon of morality, dignity, and love of homeland.' He said that Erkomaishvili has been serving the Georgian culture for decades, with restoring, introducing, publishing and continuing.

Bidzina Ivanishvili spoke about the importance of Georgian wine and Polyphony of Georgian Folk music, saying that these reflect every Georgian’s character.
