The Deputy Ambassador of Italy Nicola Iorio took part in the presentation of the first issue of the magazine "Domus Georgia" held at Rooms Garden Hall. The event was attended by ambassadors, young architects as well as artists.

One of the most authoritative publications in the field of architecture and design ‘Domus’ was founded in 1928 in Milan. Georgia is the first country in the Caucasus and Eastern Europe to have its version of this magazine, and as the Italian Ambassador Enrico Valvo addressed the readers of the magazine, this is a very important event, as "Domus Georgia" will help bring together architecture and design lovers and specialists in Italy and Georgia, will be a great incentive for the exchange of global trends.

The publication will contribute to the history of such exchanges between Italy and Georgia, beginning with Giovanni Scudieri (named after one of the streets in Tbilisi) and continuing with the work of contemporary Italian architects Fuskas e De Lucchi. New generations of architects will help to create the best architectural designs and develop restoration techniques.

Embassy of Italy Congratulated to the entire team of Domus Georgia magazine, led by Lena Kiladze, who became a partner of the embassy as part of the "Italian Design Days" held in June this year. According to Kiladze, the magazine will aim to contribute to the improvement of educational level, will introduce the work of Georgian professionals to the global audience, thus promoting dialogue between local and European architects.
