Malkhaz Machalikashvili calls on Soso Gogashvili to publish full information on why his son was killed

Malkhaz Machalikashvili, the father of Temirlan Machalikashvili, who was killed as a result of Pankisi's special operation, says that after his son was killed, people connected with Gomelauri, Gogashvili, and SUS often visited him.

"I knew every minute they sent me, who had come in what form, to whom I had to give an answer to bring them there, to Gomelauri and Gogashvili. They are a group of scoundrels picked from the street, some of Gomelauri, some of Gogashvili, some of the others who run the State Security Service today. That's why I knew that anyone who was sent would be a Kist, a thousand Kists were sent, and a thousand scoundrels were sent from the groups of Georgians, as an agent, I was encoding everyone at that moment, so I made targeted statements to everyone so that all this would reach Gomelauri and Gogashvili," said Machalikashvili.

Machalikashvili calls on the former deputy head of the State Security Service of Georgia, Soso Gogashvili, to "instead of disclosing small-scale information, if he wants to go against the government, he should publish a record of why Temirlan Machalikashvili was killed and who is the main culprit".

It is not clear why the question arises regarding the consultations to improve judiciary reform, Kelly Degnan says

According to Kelly Degnan, the US ambassador to Georgia, it is not clear why the question arises regarding the ongoing consultations regarding judicial reform. She told the media that the USA has been cooperating with Georgia on the reform of the judicial system for decades, and significant progress has been achieved in this regard.

"We have been cooperating with Georgia on the reform of the judicial system for decades, and significant progress has been made in this regard, especially in the last decade. We have seen a good attempt at judicial reform. Everyone knows that more work needs to be done, and this is an issue that has never been a topic of debate. Therefore it is not at all difficult to understand why there is now such opposition to the work that everyone has been talking about for a long time that needs to be continued in order to improve the Georgian judiciary and ensure that it is truly independent, impartial. It is not clear why the question arises regarding the consultations that have been going on regarding judicial reform not only with the US but also with various legal experts, both local and international, for decades. This consultation process led to the improvement of the Georgian judicial system," said the US Ambassador to Georgia.
