Shalva Papuashvili meets with the first deputy chairman of the Rada of Ukraine

The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, together with the members of the Georgian parliamentary delegation, met with the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kornienko.
Shalva Papuashvili confirmed Georgia's steadfast support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and noted that the current war is a big challenge for European security.
The Chairman of the Parliament reviewed the support provided by Georgia to Ukraine.
The parties discussed the European integration process of the two countries. Shalva Papuashvili spoke about the progress of Georgia in the direction of fulfilling the 12 recommendations of the European Union.
The Chairman of the Parliament wished success to the Ukrainian people in the struggle for the independence of their country.
The meeting was held within the framework of the 145th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Rwanda.
The Georgian parliamentary delegation includes the Chairman of the Parliament, Nikoloz Samkharadze, the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, Khatia Tsilosani, the First Deputy Chairman of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, and Aleksandre Rakviashvili, a member of the Girchi parliamentary political group.
