PM Irakli Gharibashvili meets with Czech Republic Justice Minister Pavel Blazek

The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili met with the Minister of Justice of the Czech Republic Pavel Blazek.
At the meeting held in the government administration, the main directions of the dynamic partnership between the two countries were reviewed.
It was noted that bilateral visits between Georgia and the Czech Republic have become significantly more active recently. The willingness to further deepen the existing cooperation and political dialogue was expressed. The significant assistance provided by the Czech Republic in the direction of institutional, socio-economic transformation and reforms of Georgia on the path of European integration was emphasized.
The Prime Minister thanked the Minister of Justice of the Czech Republic for his unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and emphasized the importance of the Czech Republic's participation in the EU monitoring mission.
The conversation touched on the important progress achieved by Georgia on the path of European integration. It was noted that the European Council, by giving Georgia a European perspective, confirmed that the future of Georgia is in the European Union, and this decision laid the foundation for a new stage that should bring Georgia to EU membership. The role of the Czech Republic as the EU Council chairman country and the importance of Czech support in the European integration process were emphasized.
The conversation also touched on the first summit of the European political union initiated by the European Union, which was held in Prague. According to the Prime Minister, this summit is of special importance and will contribute to unifying efforts to ensure peace and stability on the European continent.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Czech Republic Zuzana Fiserova, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Georgia Petr Mikyska and the Minister of Justice of Georgia Rati Bregadze.
